The focus of today's meeting between Likud Party Chairman Benjamin Netanyahu and NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer at the Dan Tel-Aviv Hotel was the Iranian issue. Netanyahu repeated his warning that Iran has been and remains the key problem for the United States, NATO, and the international community. Netayahu noted that Hamastan in Gaza is the forward post for the nuclear arming of Iran, as is the Hizboullah in Lebanon. Netanyahu added: "Both of them are Iranian satellites, and they must be dealt with at their roots. It makes a vast difference if the country sponsoring them has nuclear capabilities."
