The state presented an alternative plan this morning to stimulate the Israeli economy. The scope of the plan is estimated at millions of shekalim. Within the framework of this initiative the government will provide a full tax exemption for the duration of ten years for every company that functions in Israel in the fields of energy, water and science. Peres also suggests that soldiers in regular military service will complete a bachelor's university degree during their military service.

The Israeli president, Shimon Peres, presented this morning at a world conference an alternative plan to encourage the economy. According to him, the plan is based on the provision of grants from the state, which in its framework, benefits will be given to ten Israeli economic branches that will be defined by the government as "a driving force behind comprehensive economic growth". The scope of the plan is estimated at millions of shekels.
