The People of Israel Have the Strength to Confront Terror

Likud Chairman visited yesterday (Monday) the wounded soldiers from the military operation in Gaza, and their families in the Belinson and Tel Hashomer hospitals. Netanyahu, who was moved by these meetings, said “I’ve come to shake the hands of the wounded soldiers and their families and I’ve discovered things that moved me very much… first of all, despite the fact that some have paid a very heavy price you will still find there a great strength of spirit and courage that are hard to describe. The soldiers are saying ‘we want to go back’ and the parents are supporting them.”

Netanyahu reiterated his unequivocal position against the premature termination of the operation:

“I think it is clear to every Israeli that the battle against the Hamas’ terror is not behind us yet and still awaits us together with the terror of the Hizballah and its patron Iran. But in this struggle –the determining factor will be who has a stronger spirit and internal strength. I believe that the people of Israel have all the internal and external strengths needed in order to face these terrorists.  They will not beat us –we will beat them!”
