Poverty

The correct solution to poverty is integrated in the government's plans and activities for long-term economic growth. After the government has succeeded in stabilizing the economy it can focus on increasing productivity, resulting in the creation of new employment opportunities and will allow those below the line of poverty to join the workforce.

These steps will promote higher per-capita productivity and prolonged growth, creating more jobs, higher personal income and a better ability to assist those with low income.

Raising the Real Standard of Living

The economy's shift to growth allows the government to raise the standard of living by increasing the real income and purchasing power of the public.

Therefore the government will act to lower the prices of goods and services, and improve their quality. The government will continue to develop the systems providing information to consumers and quality control of the goods and services they receive. The government will encourage competition between producers, suppliers and service providers for the good of the consumers. In addition, exposing the local market to foreign imports will with time promote higher efficiency in many areas of the economy, as well as lower prices.
